Our efforts to mature outside of the word of God is hopeless, but if we comment to the reading and studying of Scripture and have turned our lives over to Christ, the Holy Spirit will renew our minds, (Romans 12:1, 2) and will lead us, and correct us, and will direct us into all truth.
